Construction Supervisor

  The Construction Supervisor oversees construction activities, workflow and schedules from mobilization to project completion.  Able to read and follow plans and specifications. Proficient in directing several trades and crews and explaining daily tasks to yield high productivity. Must be professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to organize field staff and worksite activities. This is a safety critical position. 


Duties and qualifications include but not limited to:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred 
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state      driver’s license prior to employment
  • Five (5) years’ experience involving the supervision of construction      workers
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to      heavy equipment operations
  • Working knowledge of the methods, materials, and tools used in      construction
  • Ability to disseminate verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with project managers in writing      and verbally
  • Ability to observe proper safety precautions
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and      consistency

Carpenter

Construction Supervisor

Construction Supervisor

  Carpenter position works on various commercial and residential projects. Can lead a crew or work independently to read plans and layout work. Able to work with wood or steel framing materials to construct additions, interior build out and renovations.
 

Duties and qualifications include but not limited to:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state      driver’s license prior to employment
  • Four (4) years’ experience in full time position performing      carpentry work
  • Able to install rough framing, doors, windows, siding, partitions      and some finish work
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to      heavy equipment operations
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and      consistency
  • Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and      security standards
  • Providing constant courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment with      public or customer interaction
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

General Laborer

Construction Supervisor

General Laborer

  Responsible for performing activities to include physical labor at construction sites. cleaning and preparing construction sites for the installation of various structures and buildings. Unloads and loads materials, May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials, etc. May assist other craft workers. tends machines, mixes concrete, pours concrete, and assists carpenters, operating engineers, and other construction workers.


Duties and qualifications include but not limited to:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state      driver’s license prior to employment
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to      heavy equipment operations
  • Performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in      construction projects.
  • Maintaining a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and      secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
  • Handling and storing materials
  • Shoveling, raking, seeding, checking grade, etc.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and hoisting materials
  • Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are      followed; bringing problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety      Director, or HR Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
