Project: Historic Needwood Mansion Building and Site Improvements
Location: 6700 Needwood Road, Derwood, MD 20855
Owner: The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission / Montgomery Parks
Subcontractor Trades Needed: Masonry, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
Scope of Work: Mansion improvements include (but are not limited to) updating and repairing the building envelope, repairing and reconfiguring second floor rooms, removal of individual window AC units and addition of central air-conditioning, a new dehumidification system, window repairs or replacement, various improvements for code compliance and ADA accessibility, wood frame and screen repairs, condensing unit pad with fence enclosure, new ADA-compliant restroom, renovations to existing restrooms, selective masonry repointing, and other exterior repairs and improvements. Lead paint stabilization and limited asbestos removal in areas impacted by project work are included in the scope of work.

Project: Public Safety Training Facility (PSTF) Training Building & Annex Remodel
Location: 5370 Public Safety Place, Frederick, MD 21704
Owner: Frederick County
Scope of Work: Construction of a new training building to include the exterior shell, all windows and exterior entry doors; all exterior finishes; includes interior stairs and second level framing (as part of the new Building Scope). The scope of work includes code minimum lighting and mechanical items, all sub-slab MEP lines, exterior lighting, foundation and slab work. All earthwork is unclassified, and includes the installation, maintenance, and removal of necessary sediment and erosion controls.

Project: Holt Memorial Park Enhancements
Location: 34 Elmont Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206
Owner: Baltimore County DPW
Project Scope: The Arts Center, constructed around 1900, and log cabins, believed to be constructed in the 1930s, are historic and should be preserved to the greatest extent possible. New materials used for repairs and renovations will be carefully selected to match or coordinate with the existing historic fabric. The design team is recommending minimal interventions in order to minimize the impact on the historic character of the cabins. The Arts Center scope includes renovations to the Greenhouse and repairs to the brick pavers. The Garden Cabin scope includes a new American with Disabilities Act restroom addition to the north side of the cabin, replacing the exterior wood siding with cement siding, and other minor repairs and upgrades. The Nature Cabin scope includes reconstruction of the front porch as well as other structural repairs, replacing the exterior wood siding with cement siding, and interior casework. The 112 McCormick Avenue Cabin scope includes renovations to raise the floor in the existing Kitchen area and reconfiguration of the addition to provide an ADA restroom. The Garage scope includes sealing of the concrete slab and storage shelving.

Please let us know if you are a certified MBE firm when bidding so that we can include your company towards the participation goal.

Owner: Maryland Environmental Services
Scope of Work: National Recreational Trails Program: Construction of a 10,794 Linear Feet, 6 Foot Wide, Walking Trail; Install of 4 Outdoor Classrooms with Seating & Viewing Platform; Construction of a Pedestrian Bridge, 3 Boardwalks, Puncheon, and Timber Stairs.
Scope of work includes Tree Mitigation.
