Location: 10237 Carroll Place, Kensington, MD 20895
Project Owner: Montgomery County, Maryland Department of General Services - Division of Building Design and Construction
Scope of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to, lifting the building, removing the existing foundations, excavating for a new basement, installing new foundation and basement walls, and then setting the building down on the new basement and foundations. In addition, the project includes a new addition with an elevator, connecting link, and hazardous material abatement and/or removal. The project also includes a renovation of the existing building as indicated on the drawings along with new site work and landscaping.

Site Visit has passed; however, it is a public building if you would like to visit during hours of operation; although, you may not have access to all areas.
Subcontractor Bids for this project will be broken into two phased parts, a resume (part 1) and a price proposal (part 2). See submission instructions below.

The owner has specific requirements for this RFP which includes the following information needed from all proposed Subcontractors:
Please send us your company resume which lists your capabilities and qualifications as well as fill out Attachment G: Subcontractor Experience Form and attach the Reference Requirements noted in Attachment A: References.
In order for us to consider your pricing proposal, you must send us the above information.
*Minority Participation
This project has a Minority, Female, Disabled Person (MFD) participation goal. If your firm is MFD Certified with Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT); Federal SBA (8A); MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC); Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC); or the City of Baltimore, we ask that you please include your letter of certification along with your resume.

Please note that this is a Prevailing Wage Rate project. You must acknowledge these rates in your pricing proposal. You can find the rates attached in the google drive folder. Additionally, please acknowledge in your price proposal any and all addenda to the RFP. Be sure to check the google drive folder as all addenda will be added to the folder as soon as we receive it.
